Gisele Bundchen Diet: Less Food Than Jealous Women Think
Everyone wants to know the Gisele Bundchen diet because this Victoria’s Secret Angel is the highest paid model in history. So because her face has graced the covers of over 7,000 magazines, the assumption is that there must be something very special about the Gisele Bundchen diet.
Sorry, folks, but there isn’t.
The Gisele Bundchen Diet
The 5-11 wannabe-pro-volleyball-player-turned richest model ever, enjoys a variety of foods and does not avoid her favorites.
Though she doesn’t do the calorie restriction thing like Angelina Jolie or Victoria Beckham, she also isn’t known to pig out or eat like her 6-4 football player husband Tom Brady, either. (Man, their kids are going to be as tall as trees!)
Gisele Bundchen diet is sensible.
For those who believe the Brazilian-German model can stuff herself with all the food she wants, here’s something to consider: First of all, maybe all she wants is about 1,600 calories a day, because this is reportedly how many calories a day are in the Gisele Bundchen diet.
That’s not too restrictive, though I’d never recommend calories to be this low in a physically active woman. The bigger point of interest is that a woman with a super fast metabolism should not feel she must smoke cigarettes to keep off the pounds.
Yet she is quoted as saying, “I smoked to prevent weight gain. This way I was not hungry.” This should be reassuring to the scads of teen girls and young women who cringe with envy believing that the Gisele Bundchen diet is loaded with calories, fat and junk food.
You’ll be happy to know that after she quit smoking (very smart move!), she gained 15 pounds! “When you stop smoking you gain weight, because food tastes better than when it tasted like ashtray,” she has stated. This means she ate more, and gained weight! You see? Giselle Bundchen isn’t a fat-melting machine after all!
Of course, she lost that gained weight, and that meant paring back on the increased food intake. She doesn’t sit around gorging on cake or ice cream, but she will include these items in her dietary habits.
It’s all about calories in vs. calories out, whether some of those calories are from chocolate cake or grilled salmon. A sliver of cake has the same calories as 4 ounces of grilled salmon.
Another smart habit is that she hardly drinks alcohol, and liquor definitely has calories. Though she loves red meat, she restricts it.
Daily calories in the Gisele Bundchen diet?
Once again, it is 1,600. And she exercises regularly. She eats lean protein, fresh fruit, whole grains, healthy fats, treats now and then, rather than all the time, and she loves almonds. Almonds are calorie-dense, but they also tend to fill you up, preventing bingeing.
